Anti-matter is the same as Matter but totally opposite in nature, this came into light in 1920 when Physicist Paul Dirac was trying to reconcile two theory in Physics, Einstein’s theory of Relativity and Quantum mechanics. He certainly theorized the concept X² = 4 i.e. It may be 2 or -2. From there the concept is generated may Anti-Matter exist. Further research conclude that the existence of Anti-Matter is true. The Anti-Matter particles shares the same mass as their counterpart matter but opposite properties such as electric charge are opposite Negatively charge as Positron in Anti-matter. The Anti-Particles in Anti-Matter such as Proton are Negatively charged
Anti-Proton, Electrons are positively charged Anti-Electrons and Neutrons are also opposite in nature as Anti-Neutrons.
The Anti-Particle and Particles collision releases huge amount of energy that is equivalent to total mass of Matter & Anti-Matter and lead to their mutual annihilation. Everything we see is made of matters and anything that occupy some space have some mass it and same definition is applied to Anti-Matter but opposite in Nature. So here’s the question rises if after Big Bang, Matters & Anti-Matter were created in equal amount i.e. one atom of Matter and one atom of anti-matter so everything that we know would have vanished long ago only leaving energy behind. The Physicist around the world speculation that Universe may have created more Matters than Anti Matters. The Anti-Matters are created or Generated by Particle accelerators and in natural processes like cosmic ray collisions and some types of radioactive decay but only a tiny fraction of these have successfully been bound together in experiments to form anti-atoms.
No macroscopic amount of antimatter has ever been assembled due to the extreme cost and difficulty of production and handling. Antimatter particles bind together to form antimatter same as matters. The product of hydrogen will be anti-hydrogen in antimatter space. A very few amounts of antimatter have been generated in CERN particle accelerators that is in some nano-gram it is very expensive to make an estimate around $25 billion per gram.

Matter–antimatter reactions have practical applications in medical imaging, such as Positron emission tomography(PET). In positive beta decay, a nuclide loses surplus positive charge by emitting a positron. Nuclides with surplus positive charge are easily made in a cyclotron and are widely generated for medical use. Antiprotons have potential to treat certain cancers, in a similar method currently used for ion (proton) therapy.
Isolated and stored anti-matter could be used as a fuel for interplanetary/interstellar travel as part of antimatter catalyzed nuclear pulse propulsion Engine. The antimatter Rocket Engine would be able to produce energy higher than conventional, an antimatter-fuelled spacecraft would have a higher thrust to weight ratio than a conventional spacecraft.
Antimatter has been considered as a trigger mechanism for nuclear weapons. This lead the maximum mass destruction than current Nuclear Weapon poses. A major obstacle is we’re still finding ways to discover it.
