Telecom operator Reliance Jio finally rolls out it’s much anticipated Jio Fiber service today September 5, 2019. This thing was in beta testing for a year before it’s official release.
Jio Fiber will go live in the second half of the day. Jio Fiber service is now available across many cities in India.

Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Surat, Vadodara, Chennai, Noida, Ghaziabad, Bhubaneshwar, Varanasi, Allahabad, Bengaluru, Surat, Agra, Meerut, Vishakapatnam, Lucknow, Jamshedpur, Haridwar, Gaya, Patna, Port Blair, and Punjab currently have access to Jio Fiber broadband service.
As promised at its 42nd annual general meeting (AGM) in August, Ambani’s JioFiber broadband service comes with a high-definition television and set-top boxes at no charge for annual lifetime subscribers and also with internet-of-things services.
With price starting from 700 rupees (about $10) a month, Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd offer includes subscriptions to most premium streaming services and 100Mbps internet connection with data allotment of 100GB, and not to mention you can speed up your data up to 1Gbps in more expensive plans.
Jio Fiber is being offered at “less than one-tenth the global rates.” According to RIL, nearly 15 million registrations has been received over 1600 towns in India for Jio Fiber broadband service.
One of the major highlight of the Jio Fiber service is “First Day First Show” which will allow its customers to watch new movies on the day of its release. This service will be lunched in mid 2020.
Also, those customers who will avail the premium Jio Forever annual plan will get a Full HD TV or a Home PC alongside a 4K set-top box so that users can have direct access to television services.

- Enter asked details like your mobile number and name
- Click ‘Generate OTP’
- Enter the OTP you received on your mobile
